• Health Data: With your explicit permission, we read Heart Rate and Blood Oxygen (SpO2) data from Apple Health to calculate your real-time Asthma Score.
• Location Data: We access your approximate or precise location to provide real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) reports and to locate Nearby Hospitals in an emergency.
• Usage Data & Triggers: Your logged environmental triggers (e.g., pollen, dust) and medication adherence (e.g., inhaler usage) are stored securely to provide personalized Insights.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the functionality of BreatheEasy:

• To calculate your 10-minute rolling Asthma Score.
• To notify you about poor environmental conditions relative to your specific triggers.
• To provide active medication reminders and emergency hospital routing.

4. Data Storage, Protection & Third Parties

We employ industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Your sensitive health data primarily resides locally on your device or securely within your linked backend account (Supabase). We do not sell your personal or medical data to third-party marketers or data brokers.

You have the full right to access, modify, or delete your health and profile data at any time. You can clear your data directly within the BreatheEasy app settings or by contacting our Data Protection Officer below.
